| No patient is refused transportation because of their inability to pay. Each patient using the ambulance is asked to pay a $20 fee to support the operation of the ambulance service |
| The ambulance service which is funded through the generosity of the Parish of St. Albert the Great, was started after a young man was shot 7 times by a gang in the remote area of San Pedro and left to die. The young man survived. |
